Who is Jed Crisp?

Jed Crisp is a solo, self-proclaimed singer/ songwriter based out of East Texas. He has played all types of venues in the Ark-La-Tex area and always gets a call back to be booked again.  Since his move to seriously pursue music in 2013 he has only had continued success. He was awarded the fan voted 2013 East Texas Music Awards Singer/Songwriter and Single of the year. In 2014 his fans nominated his song "Small Town" for East Texas single of the year. Since winning the awards and extending his East Texas fan base he has been signed by Solly Records out of Nacogdoches, TX.  He is currently recording his first EP to be released in 2015. Which will include “Midnight Ride”,“3 Shots Down” and “All Over You”.

Most recently he was a featured songwriter on the television show "Songwriters Across Texas" broadcasting his well known original “3 Shots Down” throughout Austin, TX. He has also started the 2015 year off with a bang by becoming a semi-finalist in the "McDonalds Soundoff Singing Competition".  In just these two short years Jed has had the opportunity to co-write with members of Miranda Lambert’s “Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars and Platinum” tour, an America’s Got Talent semi-finalist and musician for Jukebox Mafia, Dave Fenley.

After a visit to one of Nashville's most sought after singer/songwriter venues, The Commodore, he was offered a writer’s round after playing just one original at the open mic night.  Jed can draw you in with his slow original ballads, upbeat drinking songs and the uniqueness he brings to every song with his voice.  Jed Crisp is an artist you would not want to pass up on. Good times seem to follow him wherever he goes!
